Like many of you reading this (hopefully more than just my mom), I’m a ‘quarter-lifer’ trying to sort it all out. Being forced out of the safe cocoon of college life thanks to graduation a few years back, the age-old advice of ‘get a job, make good money, and find a mate’ abounded. Over the last few years I’ve had many a trial and error in each of those categories. In observing those around me, as well, it’s clear we all have our own strategies, but more often than not, similar themes, successes, and gripes come to the surface. Enter me. I’m here to simply allow for a platform to share, relate, and maybe even learn a thing or two. From this betwixter to you, welcome. Check out my original post for the full story.
PS For any interested parties, my name is Darrah Brustein. I’m a 32 year-old Atlanta transplant by way of Philly and Baltimore. Emory graduate who dove into the wholesale fashion world post-grad. I’m now an entrepreneur, dividing my time between three companies I started (merchant services, networking for young professionals, and financial literacy for kids). Personal development is a passion of mine and you’ll often find me traveling, with friends, reading, learning new things, taking B&W photos, tapping, or reading. You can learn more about me on my website.
Thanks for joining me on this journey through the ‘real world’. Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
